Description
Second project in my Illustrator class. Didn't have as much time to work on this project as I would have liked, with work and other activities. Regardless, I'm semi-pleased with it. The focus was an illustration with a scientific feel, so realism wasn't the goal - and I wouldn't have had time to create something purely realistic in appearance anyway.
Um, I've taken only one Biology class in my life, thank goodness - love my mathematics more - so I'm hoping I labeled the flower correctly.

this is great! we are working on a very similar project in my illustration class.
my professor didn't provide many botany examples (only lots of medical illustrations)...so off to deviantart i went to find inspiration- and tada! this lovely piece appeared.
